| My name is Dan McManis. I am a self taught artist. Many years ago I worked in construction, but was hurt in an auto accident. As a result, I was no longer able to work in that industry. The only other skill I had was the skill I was born with. So in the early 90’s I submitted some of my artwork to different companies and agencies throughout California. As a result, I was hired by Impact Images and freelanced for other companies. I have work published all over the world, but after working as a commercial artist for over 8 years, during the late 90’s, I became burnt out and no longer kept my job as an artist. I now have the urge to paint again, so you’ll soon be seeing a lot of new work. |
